Are you looking for....?
- System administration (includes sites, server maintenance/upgrades/patches)
- User management (includes licensing, and customer engagement)
- Management of technology roadmaps and strategic platform design
- Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.
- Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, load balancing)
- Work closely with technical architects, data and software engineers to ensure optimal Tableau server to support reporting requirements
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to drive automation using Tableau.
- Develop and document standards/best practices for the development and administration of the Tableau platform
- Provide technical advice on dashboards design/implementation for optimal server performance
- Vendor management for customer success, events and licensing
If you are ....
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Statistics or other relevant disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles supporting a significant technology platform in a production 24x7 IT environment
- Must demonstrate the ability to analyze medium to large, complex or vague Business or Technical problems and translate analysis into viable solution recommendations
- Experience in Tableau RESTful API, configuring and administering Tableau Server, understanding of Tableau architecture
- Experience configuring Single Sign-on (SSO) with SAML authentication, embedding dashboards & trusted authentication
- Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery
- Experience in evaluating platform performance improvement
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work through urgent production matters
- Proficient in Tableau Command Line Utility and other performance monitoring tools (Tabjolt, LogShark, Tabmon, etc.)
