Lead, coach and inspire a team to manage procurement projects and work with multiple stakeholders across all markets but principally in Hong Kong
Support the DFI Property and Construction vision and strategy on Food, H&B and 7-Eleven retail format at DFI
Lead contract negotiations on behalf of all banners
Create and implement procurement strategies
Work closely with stakeholders to review the scope and specifications, including service level agreements and key performance indicator requirements
Create the sourcing documentation for RFI, RFx and E Auction via the DFI procurement system to achieve business objectives in terms of both quality and achieving best value for money
Lead objective evaluation and clarification process
Analyze tender responses and evaluate technical and commercial scores to achieve business targets within the current market conditions
Complete contract approval process
Analyze spend data to understand actual spend vs contractual commitments, non-compliance and identify opportunities for improvements, different buying approaches and/or saving opportunities
Review commodity trends and ensure rate cards are fit for purpose and create value
Create exciting plans to optimize our capex spend, reduce total annual expenditure, and improve ROI
Ensure compliance with legal and any specific legislative requirements related to the category and market.
Complete internal procurement governance including, drafting spend approval and contract recommendation papers, completing the saving tracker, etc
Create and actively manage category plans
To ensure integrity and ethics are sustained throughout the procurement process
Do you have experience in Non-trade Procurement?
5 to 10 years procurement experience
Ambition to continue to develop a career in procurement
Experience of working in a dynamic Procurement Team and able to follow end to end procurement processes
Experience of working in a procurement team in retail and/or multi-market preferred
Experience of working in the Property or Construction industry in a leadership role
Strong attention to detail, numeracy and analytical skills and be a good problem solver
Pro-active, self-motivated, well-organized, efficient and ability to work under pressure
Achievement and goal oriented with good organization skills, ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Well-developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Leadership behaviors and skills
Strong computer literacy skills with excellent MS Office skills.
Language in English and Cantonese
