The challenge is to:

You will play a pivotal role in leading and implementing strategies to cultivate a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment. Your focus will be on developing and executing initiatives that promote these principles across various aspects of the business – recruitment, talent development, engagement and community partnerships. In this position, you will serve as the subject matter expert, collaborating with key stakeholders and driving cultural change to foster innovation and drive business growth.

  • A member of the People and Culture Leadership Team; reporting line to the Chief People and Culture Officer to drive cultural change towards an inclusive and equitable workplace
  • Responsible for setting the Company’s strategic direction for IE&D including short-term, and long-term goals, policies and initiatives: equitable recruitment practices, team Member resource groups / affinity networks to promote team engagement, training programs enhancing cultural competency and promote inclusive behaviors, and incorporate to talent management processes such as performance evaluation, promotions, and succession planning
  • Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of IE&D initiates; partner with ESG / Sustainability COE to report progress
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, benchmark DFI’s ED&I approaches against other industry players and global best practices
  • Responsibility for overall budget and resource allocation for all initiatives and programs

 

Do you have experience in IE&D?

  • A minimum of 5 years progressive and proven experience in leading and implementing people culture related changes in a complex organization
  • Deep understanding of IE&D best practices, theories, and frameworks
  • Experience leading organization-wide initiatives and driving change across a large, complex business
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to IE&D in the workplace 
  • Ability to build organizational capabilities through people, hold people accountable and motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • University degree holder in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an advantage
