Prepare daily and monthly cashflow forecast to Group office
Compare actual with forecast cashflow, manage and monitor daily cash position and funding requirement
Daily monitor on cheque register logs and arrange cheque deposit to bank
Download bank statements, monitor daily cash movement and manage corresponding bank book records
Handle treasury related transactions including but not limited to inter-company fund transfer
Follow up on bank unreconciled items e.g. unknown deposit
Assist on any ad hoc treasury responsibilities
Participate in month-end closing, e.g. preparation of journals, account analysis and bank reconciliations
Prepare schedules & journals for loan facilities/interest rate swap
Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
Assist in continuous improvement of accounting process and procedures
Support the annual audit and year-end process, and other ad hoc projects as required
Do you have experience in accounting?
University graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting, experience in treasury/payment sector is preferred. Fresh graduate is also welcome.
Experience in HSBCnet and/or Treasury Management System (e.g. Reval) is a plus
Experienced user of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP system, preferably SAP
Good command of written and verbal English and Chinese
Proactiveness, ability to work independently with great attention to accuracy in detail
Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels
