WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Work with Store Business Navigation & Operations Managers to ensure what are closely connected to all stores/units and inspire, support and challenge store colleagues to bring about constant improvement
  • Work with store A&A to analyze purchasing benefits, costs, investments and develop procurement cases. By doing this, we ensure the following:
  • Purchasing: Use professional purchasing skills and setup effective select scales and systems based on different procurement type and amount to find the most suitable vendor. Scope include: Property: equipment, office equipment and stationary, stores consumables and communications; Engineering: showroom rebuild, small size building maintenance; Service: equipment maintenance, security, cleaning service and other broker service
  • Process Optimization: Optimize vendor selected regulation and standard, centralize procurement and develop purchase tools to increase efficiency. Keep updating new purchasing method and evaluating the possibility of establishing new business models based on purchasing scales. Follow I-Way spirit to cultivate partner who is worthy of developing a long-term cooperation
  • Budgeting: Through analysis procurement, set out a budget which meets the environment change and develop plan. And execute purchasing based on business priority and needs
  • Risk Management: Setup vendor evaluation regulation and non-scheduled/ scheduled superintend process to develop more suitable cooperators and purchase process through effective purchasing quality control. Also, assist on budgeting evaluation in order to lower down the possibility of happening significant risk
  • Commercial: Understand IKEA product and commercial plan. Support company business plan by profession according to develop priority including stimulate sales growth, support and challenge sales team, secure company financial goal. Working together with store operation manager and A&A manager to ensure effective practice tools, methods and plan
  • Train negotiation skills to the rest of the organization
  • Negotiate with the stakeholders for a balanced (financially and operationally) procurement requirements
  • Negotiate directly with the vendors to secure savings (financially) and secure the most preferential commercial terms (rates, payment days, option to extend/renew, flexibility, scalability, etc.)
