WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU

• You have a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related discipline
• You have 5 years of work experience of working with/in PR agencies, preferably from a customer-centric business
• You have experience in creating and implementing long-term communication strategic plans, setting budgets and following up on goals
• You have experience with handling multiple projects at the same time with good schedule control, and the ability to work with tight time schedules and used to the high working pace
• You have experience of managing and coordinating consumer and media events
• You are interested in home furnishing and design
• You are self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• You are detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• You have analytical, strategic and creative thinking skills which you will be able to think differently
• You can communicate confidently and clearly both in Chinese and English

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Work with Public Relations Manager, North Asia to create PR strategy and annual plan for HK market, based on the North Asia marketing plan, commercial calendar and HK market/consumer insights that is anchored in the stores. Develop tactics and make sure all tactics could be executed smoothly. Work closely with other Marketing functions to reach North Asia marketing goal
• Cooperate with PR team in Taiwan to increase awareness and visibility of IKEA brand and commercial messages through PR communication mix to reach HK PRV goal. Monitor the performance and share with related stakeholders
• Cooperate with other Marketing functions to strengthen and safeguard the IKEA brand image by securing good exposure of IKEA brand
• Establish and maintain good relations with HK media. Connect all the contacts throughout the year to optimize IKEA publicity coverage
• Ensure the quality and timelines of communication productions to meet the objective of each project. Develop and document project follow up and best practices for various purposes
• Responsible for HK PR budget and ROI target
• Work closely with agencies and all other business partners
